The beanarella coffee is a 100% organic coffee from 100% drum roasting. The capsules are also 100% compostable. The beanarella coffee capsules contain no aluminium, no heavy metals and no plasticisers. The beanarella coffee capsules are made from a bioplastic. The components of the bioplastic come mainly from renewable raw materials. The capsules consist mainly of polylactic acid, cellulose (plant fibres) and calcium carbonate (lime). Polylactic acid is obtained from renewable sugar-based raw materials, z.B. from sugar beet and the maize plant.
