SGF starter cable highly flexible 35mm2 red

Compared to conventional cables, these cables of the new cable generation have up to 15% less conductor diameter.

Conventional, non-compacted stranded conductor:
- large cable diameter due to conductor structure
- round individual wires

New SGF, compacted stranded conductor according to VDE-0295 class 2:
- smaller cable diameter with the same conductor cross-section thanks to compacted individual wires
- very flexible
- lighter

The smaller diameter sometimes means that the stripped cable sits too loosely in the cable lugs, especially with crimping cable lugs, and therefore no clean crimping is carried out or the cable can even be pulled out after crimping.
