This 1-phase EnergyStorage Set is able to cover 80 - 90% of the energy requirements of a small family home.
Please note that energy consumption is very individual and is viewed as such. It is therefore almost impossible to make a definitive statement.
Of course, a corresponding solar system is also necessary. This can be customised, as Victron supports various types of integration. For detached houses, where the greatest energy demand usually occurs in the morning and evening, a DC-coupled solar system is the most efficient. If a balcony is available, this can be combined with a balcony solar system via 230V AC.
The yield naturally varies depending on the location. In the Zurich Oberland z.B., between March and September, you can expect a monthly average of approx. 3x the installed output per day. From April with 4+ times the output until mid-August.
Example: 1000Wp installed capacity results in an average daily yield of 3000 - 4000Wh per day spread over the month.
With a 1-phase storage system, the focus is on optimising self-consumption and not on 100%igen stand-alone capability.
This means that in the event of a power failure, only one phase continues to be supplied with power and not all 3 phases as with a 3-phase system.
If no 3-phase loads (heat pump) need to be operated during a power failure, this can usually be solved by adapting the sub-distribution board so that defined loads can continue to be operated even in a power failure scenario. With phase compensation, the other 2 phases can be supported / compensated with up to 3kW during grid operation. Switching takes place without interruption.
The big advantage here is the smaller battery bank and the use of a single inverter/charger.
This also massively reduces the space required.
This system can easily be expanded with additional BYD LVL storage batteries.
The system can also be extended to a 3-phase system and can therefore fulfil most requirements.

- 1x main switch and DC fuse
