230V inverter generator with mains monitoring / remote start

The KS 4000iE S ATS inverter generator has an integrated ATS unit (automatic transfer switching unit) and is therefore able to monitor the shore power. It starts automatically in the event of a power failure and switches itself on. However, it can also be operated manually.

This version 2 is specially designed to be started and stopped via a battery monitor or control unit.
In conjunction with an inverter / battery system, it can utilise the energy efficiently. This saves a lot of fuel and reduces noise and emissions. You can find the connection instructions here.

The OFF-RUN rotary switch on the right-hand side of the generator combines the petrol tap, the switch for the internal 12V power supply and the ignition switch. When the generator is not in use, it should remain in the OFF position so that the lithium battery installed in the generator is not discharged. The generator comes with a disconnected battery, which must be connected under the left-hand side cover when the generator is first used. The battery is recharged by the internal charging module as soon as the generator is running or the 230V voltage is applied to the MAINS INPUT (regardless of the position of the rotary switch).


The 230V mains connection is monitored as soon as the rotary switch is set to RUN and the ATS SWITCH is switched to ON.
If the 230V voltage fails at the mains connection, the ATS controller starts the generator and feeds the 230V output socket.

The KS 4000iE S ATS V2 has 2x 230V sockets, one of which is only supplied with generator energy, while the second is supplied either from the mains or the generator.

The KS 4000iE S ATS model has the following features:

PURE SINE WAVE

Built-in inverter module with microprocessor control controls the functions of the generator and generates a stable 230V 50Hz sine wave voltage, which is also suitable for sensitive power consumers.

ROBUST MOTOR

The reliable K&S company engine is characterised by increased wear resistance, durable and stable operation and meets all European quality standards, including the latest EURO V emissions standard.

ECO MODE

ECO mode reduces fuel consumption by up to 50% at low engine speeds under light loads.

ATS UNIT

The alternator is equipped with an internal ATS unit. The ATS unit monitors the voltage of the main power source, starts the generator in the event of a power failure and switches the load to be supplied to the generator. When the main power supply returns, the ATS switches back to it and stops the generator.

ERGONOMIC CONTROL PANEL

The ergonomic control panel is equipped with an LED display, an ECO mode switch, a RESET button to reset the electronic overload protection triggered in the inverter module and restore the power supply. Microprocessor control controls the most important parameters. The low oil protection stops the generator when the engine oil is low.

REDUCED NOISE LEVEL

The soundproof housing ensures a sound level (66 dB Lpa 7 m), easy to use and convenient to transport. It is equipped with a transport kit for easy movement.

ALTERNATOR WITH 100% COPPER WINDING

The high-quality brushless alternator with permanent magnets and 100% copper windings can withstand high loads, ensuring long-lasting and reliable operation of the alternator.

TRANSPORT KIT
