Isolating relay EDR 24V 50A uni-directional
The EDR (Energy Distribution Relay) is
an electronically controlled relay that can be used to charge two
or more batteries simultaneously. The EDR is installed between the first
and the second battery. The relay
remains open until the voltage of the first battery
has reached the switching voltage. Now
closes the EDR and both batteries are fully charged.
If energy is drawn from the battery, the
voltage drops and the EDR opens again. The
energy is only taken from the consumer battery. The second battery remains fully charged.
The EDR has a built-in "timer" which
lights up the yellow LED a few seconds after reaching
the "closing voltage" and
goes out again after charging is completed
