Installation
Be self-sufficient for 2 days with the TinyHouse Set,
Use and store solar energy. Quite simply.
The TinyHouse Set consists of the following components:
- Easysolar
The EasySolar combines an MPPT solar charge controller, an inverter/charger and inverter power distribution in a single device. The device is easy to install and requires very little wiring. The inverter operates all common loads (coffee machine, kettle, small hoover / hairdryer) naturally depending on the available energy from the battery or the sun and your consumer behaviour. The charger charges the batteries when the sky is overcast or supports the inverter in the event of high consumption from the shore power grid or a generator.
- BMV 700 battery monitor
The battery monitor monitors the batteries and provides information on charge/discharge and charge status
- Battery protection Battery Protect
The Battery Protect protects the battery against deep discharge from connected 12V consumers such as refrigerators, lights, etc.
- Energy storage gel battery 440Ah (5500Wh)
The batteries store electricity from the solar system or the shore power grid and offer 2 days of self-sufficiency without sun or shore power for "Tiny" consumption.
- Solar system 720Wp
The solar system supplies energy to charge the battery and/or for current consumption. In summer with full sun (45°, south-facing) it supplies the "Tiny" consumption and charges the batteries with approx. 25% of their capacity.
This means that the batteries (when fully discharged) would be fully charged again after 4 days.
- Energy consumption & yield
"Tiny" consumption per 24 hours of approx. 1100Wh / 12.5V -> 95Ah
Energy yield 700Wp x 4 (expected yield per day) = 2800Wh - 15% (loss of charge controller & battery) = approx. 2380Wh (12.5V - 190Ah)
