This device will bring 4G LTE-M connectivity to all VE.Direct and Bluetooth enabled devices for the first four years, with no monthly fees or subscriptions.

Global connectivity with 4G LTE-M

LTE-M is the abbreviation for LTE Cat-M1 or Long Term Evolution (4G), category M1. This mobile technology was developed to connect Internet of Things devices to existing 4G towers while consuming little energy. LTE-M supports handovers and roaming, so it is possible to use this device in a moving vehicle such as a motorhome. Check our GlobalLink 520 manual to see if the availability of LTE-M is officially confirmed in your region. Coverage is increasing week by week as local providers offer support. Your purchase includes 5 years of connectivity, so you don't need to worry about buying a separate data package and SIM card.

Easy system monitoring and control

Your GlobalLink 520 comes with two VE.Direct-Anschlüssen that allow you to connect up to two VE.Direct-Gerdevices such as a BMV battery monitor or MPPT solar charge controller directly to the VRM. Most Bluetooth Smart devices from Victron can now also be connected wirelessly. Up to 25 devices are possible. Smart Solar MPPT, Smart Shunt, Smart Chargers etc. can be integrated. The Ruuvi environmental sensors are also supported.
With two digital inputs, which can also function as pulse counters, and a remotely controllable relay, it is the perfect solution for monitoring and controlling your system.

Built-in antenna

The GlobalLink 520 comes with a built-in antenna designed for use around the globe. However, if you need better reception or want to install your z.B. module in a commercial vehicle, it is also possible to fit an external antenna.

Victron Remote Management

The Victron Remote Management (VRM) online portal allows you to access your installation from anywhere and at any time. In VRM you can check the status of your connected products, view detailed history graphs of your energy, create detailed analysis reports and even configure automatic alarms if something goes wrong.

Please note that only the VRM portal or the VRM app can access the data. Not the Victron Connect app.
The display of data via VRM mobile widget is limited and requires a SmartShunt / MPPT solar controller.
