  --> The most important instrument for finding faults in the electrical system is a multimeter to measure at least the voltage

  Here are a few common problems with independent power supplies:

  
  - Contact resistances or cables that are too thin cause inverters to shut down sooner than hoped.
  Or the charging voltage at the battery is not sufficient for a full charge.
