Smart BatteryProtect 48V-100A

Protects the battery from deep discharge and can be used as a system on/off switch.
The Smart BatteryProtect disconnects the battery from the less important consumers before it is fully discharged
(which would damage it) or before it no longer has enough energy to start the engine
.
The on/off input can be used as a system on/off switch.

Bluetooth: Simple programming
By using Bluetooth to programme the Smart BatteryProtect, all
required on/off thresholds can be set.
Alternatively, one of nine preset on/off thresholds can be set using the programming pin
(see manual).
If necessary, the Bluetooth function can be switched off.

A special setting for lithium-ion batteries
In this mode, the Smart BatteryProtect can be controlled by the VE.Bus BMS.
Note: The Smart BatteryProtect can also be used as a charge interrupter between a battery charger and a
lithium-ion battery. See connection diagram in the manual.

Extremely low power consumption
This is important in the case of lithium-ion batteries, especially after switching off due to a low
voltage level.

Overvoltage protection
To prevent sensitive loads from being damaged by overvoltage, the load is always switched off
if the DC voltage exceeds 64 V.

Explosion protection
No relays but MOSFET switches and therefore no sparking.

Delayed alarm output
The alarm output is activated if the battery voltage falls below the
preset value for switch-off for more than 12 seconds. Switching on the motor therefore does not activate the alarm. The alarm
output is a short-circuit protected open collector output that is connected to the negative (minus) rail
. Max. Current 50 mA. The alarm output is normally used to activate an acoustic signal, an LED
or a relay.

Delayed switch-off of the load and delayed switch-on
The load is switched off 90 seconds after the battery voltage falls below the preset threshold
. If the battery voltage rises again to the threshold value for connection within this period (after the motor has been started, for example
), the load is not switched off.
The load is switched on again 30 seconds after the battery voltage exceeds the preset threshold value for switching on again
.
