A MultiPlus, plus ESS (Energy Storage System) function

The MultiPlus is a multifunctional inverter/charger with all the functions of the MultiPlus and an additional function, namely that of an external current sensor. The MultiPlus is ideally suited for professional seafaring, yachts, vehicles and land-based, off-grid applications.

PowerControl and PowerAssist - increasing mains or generator power

A maximum mains or generator current can be set. The MultiPlus-Il then takes other AC loads into account and only uses the current that is still "left over" to charge the battery. This prevents the generator or mains connection from being overloaded (PowerControl function). The PowerAssist function adds a new dimension to the PowerControl principle. Load peaks often only occur for a limited period of time. In such cases, the MultiPlus immediately compensates for insufficient generator, shore power or mains power with energy from the battery. If the load is reduced, the "surplus" energy can be used to charge the batteries.

Solar power: alternating current even in the event of a power failure

The MultiPlus can be used with both off-grid and grid-connected PV systems as well as other alternative energy systems. It can be used with both solar charge controllers and grid-connected inverters.

Two AC outputs The main output ensures uninterrupted operation.

In the event of a mains failure or an interruption in the shore/generator current, the MultiPlus takes over the supply to the connected loads. The switchover happens so quickly (in less than 20 milliseconds) that uninterrupted operation of computers and other electronic devices is guaranteed. The second output only supplies power if alternating current is available at the input of the MultiPlus. Loads that should not drain the battery, such as a water heater, can be connected to this output.

Virtually unlimited power thanks to parallel and three-phase operation

Up to 4 Multis can be connected in parallel for high power requirements. With four 48/20000/250 units, for example, this results in 64 kW/80 kVA output power with 1000 A charging capacity. In addition to the parallel connection, three units of the same model can also be configured for a three-phase output. But that's not all: up to 4 sets of three units can be connected in parallel to obtain a 192 kW / 240 kVA inverter and more than 3000 amps of charging capacity.

On-site system configuration, monitoring and control

Settings can be changed in minutes using the VEConfigure software (requires a computer or laptop and an MK3 USB interface). Several monitoring and control options are available: Ekrano GX, Cerbo GX, laptop, computer, Bluetooth (with optional VE.Bus Smart Dongle), battery monitor, Digital Multi Control.

Remote configuration and monitoring

Install a Cerbo GX or other GX products to connect to the Internet. The operating data can be stored and viewed free of charge on our VRM (Victron Remote Management) website. If systems are connected to the Internet, they can be accessed remotely and settings can be changed.
