Unlike conventional wireless network technologies that are disturbed by signal reflections, the MIMO (Multi-Input, Multi-Output) of 802.11n utilises these reflections to increase the range of 802.11g by four times and reduce "blind spots" in the wireless coverage area. It complies with the IEEE802.11g/IEEE802.11b standard, but if both ends of the wireless connection are Wireless-N, the speed can even be increased by three times the 802.11g standard by using twice as much radio band.
