The VE.Direct TX digital output cable
The VE.Direct TX digital output cable can be used in combination with the BlueSolar and SmartSolar MPPT chargers. It supports the following applications:
Lighting applications
The cable is designed for lighting applications in solar energy systems. Energy consumption can be significantly reduced by dimming the light when required. Lower electricity costs reduce the overall cost of the system. In addition, more lighting is available even when the battery is only partially charged with little sunlight. The cable connects the TX output of the VE.Direct-Steckers of an MPPT charger to the PWM dimmer input of the LED driver.
Virtual load output
The cable is designed to provide such a function for larger MPPT chargers (MPPT 100/30 and larger) that do not have a load output. The cable connects the TX output of the VE.Direct-Steckers of an MPPT charger to a BatteryProtect or a solid state relay to switch a load on or off.
