Victron Smart products with built-in Bluetooth can appear directly in VictronConnect. Compatible VE.Direct-GerDevices without built-in Bluetooth require, depending on the device, a VE.Direct Bluetooth Smart Dongle or a VE.Direct-zu-USB-Interface.

For MultiPlus, Quattro, EasySolar, and others VE.Bus-Produkte Depending on the task, either an MK3 USB interface or a VE.Bus Smart Dongle may be used. The VE.Bus Smart Dongle primarily enables monitoring and basic operation; configuration and firmware functions are generally not available with it.

Remote Access with VictronConnect Remote

VictronConnect-Remote enables access via the VRM online portal. This requires a compatible GX product, an active Internet connection, an associated VRM account, and the necessary two-way communication. For products connected via VE.Bus, only overview and detail pages can be viewed remotely; their settings are edited using Remote VEConfigure.

Suitable Applications

VictronConnect supports the commissioning and maintenance of compatible Victron components in mobile and stationary energy systems. These include, for example, systems in RVs, adventure vehicles, and boats, as well as off-grid systems, tiny houses, home energy systems, and commercial installations.

In mobile applications, device status can be monitored directly on-site. For stationary systems, the app assists installers and operators with the configuration, diagnostics, and maintenance of individual compatible components. The VRM portal, when used in conjunction with a GX product, is designed for centralized, continuous system monitoring via the Internet.
