EuraMobil combines Victron PowerElektrik with digital switching from EmpireBus Garmin

EuraMobil integrates the PowerElektrik components from Victron Energy with the digital switching module from EmprieBus into the Garmin dispatch and navigation system.

What is already commonplace on ships is now also finding its way into the vehicle sector.

Inverter/charging unit, solar charge controller, DCDC booster and battery monitoring from Victron Energy are integrated into the EmpireBus system from Garmin via the Cerbo
using NMEA2000 (Marine CAN Bus standard). This means that all data can be shown on Garmin's EmpireBus displays and navigation devices. The battery and solar display merge with the switches for lights, refrigerator, audio, etc.

However, fully integrated systems with digital switching not only have a nice "look and feel" but also challenges.
If something doesn't work, you have to rely on the manufacturer and specialized technicians. This can be a challenge, especially in remote locations.

Furthermore, technicians who can also provide warranty services are rare and getting an appointment can be a test of patience.

We at Victron Energy have no such authorization. All inquiries must be made via EuraMobil or its dealer.

System expansion

If you would like to extend your system with additional solar panels or more battery capacity and the vehicle is still under warranty, please contact EuraMobil at
to clarify the extension so as not to invalidate the warranty.

From a technical point of view, these two extensions are not major system interventions and may only require an adjustment of specification values or an additional interface.

Nevertheless, EuraMobil must approve this.
