Junction socket MC4
The MC4 junction socket or Y-piece with 2x socket (F) and 1x plug (M) for parallel or parallel-serial installation of solar modules.
We supply the original MC4 plugs and sockets from Stäubli / Multi Contact.
MC4 is the most commonly used coupling in the solar sector. Many solar modules and solar charge controllers are supplied with MC4 contacts as standard.
The original product is characterized by the following features:
- Snap-in locking
- can only be unlocked with a tool in accordance with NEC 2014
- proven, long-term stable MULTILAM technology, resulting in consistently low power loss over the entire service life of the connectors
